Reggae Youths maintain good form in Senior League
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Reggae Youths continued their good start to the St James Football Association’s Sandals/ATL Senior League with a come from behind 3-1 win over Salt Spring United at the UDC Field on Tuesday that took them to the top of the points tables.
Javion Bailey scored twice for last season’s beaten finalists as they won their third game in four starts and improved to 10 points, three more than Marl Road who edged Catherine Hall 1-0 at the Montego Bay Community College field.
Salt Spring got off to a fast start and took the lead in the third minute through Orville Christie.
Bailey equalised in the 14th minute then sent Reggae Boys into the lead in the 37th minute, while Santino Grinnion got a third goal in the 52nd minute to secure the points.
Marl Road shot up the tables after Chevon Smith’s 44th-minute goal gave them a 1-0 win over Catherine Hall, who dropped to third place in the tables.
