TWO Fridays ago, Noise, To Meh Heart and Partier recording artiste 5Star Akil popped over from the twin-island republic of Trinidad & Tobago to add some authentic Carnival flavour to Bacchanal Jamaica’s weekly Bacchanal Fridays fête at Stadium North’s Mas Camp hot spot.
With deejays Richie RAS, and D’Bandit out of Toronto’s groovy sonic backdrop serving as accompaniment to 5Star Akil’s genre-fusing set, Saturday Social joins the partying socaphiles inside the de facto arena of their favourite musical genre.
