THE popular Sandz Ultimate Beach Chill, which took place at the Cable Hut Beach in Bull Bay, St Thomas, recently, was the biggest to date.

Sound systems X Factor, Infuzion and Chromatic provided the musical selections for the massive turnout of patrons, creating a carnival-like atmosphere.

Supreme Events’ David Matthie, event coordinator for Sandz Ultimate Beach Chill, was pleased with the day’s proceedings.

“This one is epic. The vibe, the excitement, the creativity of the décor; Wray & Nephew really went hard with the set-up,” Matthie told the Jamaica Observer.

“Crowd-wise, this is the best Sandz that we have ever had. I want to thank all the patrons who came out, the sponsors, the selectors and the media for their continued support,” he continued.

Denise Gillings, a patron visiting from New York, gave the party the “thumbs up”.

“I came here for the Easter holidays and Sandz was what my friends were all talking about. I couldn’t miss it for the world. I am happy I came because I am having a really good time. Sandz tun up, loud,” she said.

The next Sandz Ultimate Beach Chill is scheduled for May.
