Kris n Charles sponsor local Domino Bodies
NATIONAL Association of Domino Bodies (NADB) has received sponsorship of $100,000 from Kris n Charles Investment Company to assist in the development of the sport across Jamaica.
Gibran Hutchinson, junior director at Kris n Charles, said that coming on board was an easy decision.
“We at Kris n Charles are big supporters of grass roots competition and so it is no different with domino. We like what the NABD is doing as to build and bring people together as one,” he said.
Vice-president at NABD, Humbert Davis, said that the sponsorship will go a long way.
“This sponsorship from Kris n Charles will assist us moving forward as we are looking to develop our domino programmes. Our programmes are about developing and retention through play, in which we have around 600 young persons in training right now as well as some 10 schools, so it is about building the sport and we thank Kris n Charles for their support,” said Davis.
