Suspect in St Elizabeth quadruple murder turns himself in
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — A suspect in last week’s murder of four farmers at Claremont in remote north-west St Elizabeth has turned himself into the police.
An authoritative police source said the man, whose name is being withheld, turned himself in at the Santa Cruz police station on Thursday afternoon accompanied by his lawyer.
Archibald Brown, 60, his brother George Brown 57, Maurice Sanderson, 40, and Ezra Wright 73 were shot dead on the night of Wednesday, May 27 in Claremont, near Ginger Hill on the fringes of the rugged Cockpit Country, close to the St Elizabeth/St James border.
