Gas prices up $0.62, diesel down $1.54
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in prices of gasoline with a decrease in the price for diesel effective Thursday, June 11, with an increase in ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold by Petrojam for $115.13 and $116.79 per litre respectively, up $0.62 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $105.17 per litre following a decrease of $1.54, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $1.20, and will be sold for $113.99 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene oil decreased in price by $2.31 and will be sold for $102.73 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $33.67 per litre, down by $1.23 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $38.03 per litre after a decrease of $1.22.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
