3 murder suspects apprehended in Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The police have arrested and charged two men in connection with separate murders in Kingston, while similar charges are pending for a third man, believed to be involved in the murder of a Clarendon man.
Charged are: Tashwayne Balford, 27, of Cedar Valley in Sligoville, St Catherine and; Ranaldo Foster, otherwise called ‘Dah Doh Wow’, 34, of Wellington Street in Denham Town, Kingston.
Balford was charged on Wednesday with the murder of 30-year-old Marvin Nicholas, otherwise called ‘Dudley’, of Majesty Gardens, Kingston. Dudley was killed on Thursday, May 21.
Meanwhile, Foster was charged with the murder of 24-year-old Neville Anderson, bus conductor of Spaulding Avenue in Drewsland, Kingston. Anderson was killed in his community on February 8.
The third man – who is suspected of murdering Jermaine Peterkin, a security officer of Ebony Gardens in Longville Park, Clarendon – is also expected to be charged. Peterkin was shot dead on Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston on Sunday, May 31.
The lawmen are also appealing to members of the public, who might have information that can assist in any of these investigations, to contact the Hunts Bay Police at 923-7111, Crime Stop at 311, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
