CPL: Rain delays start to Tallawahs, Amazon Warriors match

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Rain in Guyana has delayed the start of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) match between the Jamaica Tallawahs and the Guyana Amazon Warriors.

As a result, the match has been reduced to six overs per team and is scheduled to begin at 8:15 pm local time. The toss is scheduled for 7:50 pm.

The last encounter between the two at Sabina Park in Kingston resulted in the Tallawahs suffering an 84-run defeat to the Amazon Warriors.

The Tallawahs are currently in fourth position with eight points from as many matches, two more than the Amazon Warriors who are currently in sixth position on six points.    

If the rain continues, the match will not be played.
