2 bikers shot dead in Plantation Heights

ST ANDREW, Jamaica — Two men travelling on a motorcycle were yesterday shot dead after a motor car blocked their path in Plantation Heights, St Andrew.

They have been identified as Romaro Dixon, 21, and Daniel Thomas, 20, both of Happy Grove in the parish.

Reports are that the two men were travelling among a group of bikers along the Plantation Heights main road about 4:15 pm, when a motor car drove up and blocked their path, hitting the motorcycle. Men then reportedly alighted the motor car and opened gunfire hitting Thomas and Dixon several times.

The other motorcyclists were not harmed.

The police say investigations into the matter are ongoing.
