REGGAE singer Ken Fyffe recently released his latest project entitled Message From Marley. The song, written by producer Hugh Miller and his wife Winnifred, has been doing the rounds in the Cayman Islands.

Miller spoke to the Jamaica Observer on his inspiration for track.

“One night I was in a dream. In a di dream, mi a reason wid Bob Marley and he was angry because he was not pleased about the state of the music at this time. When I woke up, I told my wife and then I wrote a verse and she gave me another verse,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

Fyffe, a veteran entertainer, is the father of female dancehall artiste Lady G. He shared his desire for the single.

“We hope to bring a resurgence in reggae roots music. That’s our aim,” he said.

The Spanish Town-born Fyffe, affectionately called Tallish and Cremo, has been associated with several vintage groups including the Sparkles, the Eternals and The Congos, with whom he still tours.

He is featured is the Eternals’ Push Me In The Corner, which is included on the album Reggae Golden Nostalgia for producer Harry Mudie.
