Singjay Prestige is featured on the Reggae On The River Collection which debuts at number 10 on Billboard’s Reggae Album Chart. He contributes He that Seek which he co-produced with Doc Records.

“I am happy that the song is doing well and now that the compilation is on Billboard, it’s a really good feeling,” he said.

The artiste, whose real name is Lauriston Bruce, is originally from Clarks Town in Trelawny. Some of his previous songs include We Nuh Trust Dem, I am Blessed and Tender Loving.

He recently performed on over 20 shows in the United States including the annual Reggae On The River festival in northern California.

“It was a good experience doing all these shows because you get a chance to feel the energy of the crowd and the reception from the people. That’s the best way to determine how well your music is doing outside of Jamaica,” said the Rastafarian artiste.

Prestige made his recording debut in 1994 when he was known as Presley. He recorded Big Time Murderer for Black Scorpio.
