Salute TeeNation music lovers, it’s time once again to get your weekly Top 10 top up in this week’s Hottraxx.

From video premiers, to calling out twitter opponents, even a declaration of running for Presidency, the 35th annual Video Music Awards proved to us all why it’s called the biggest night in pop culture. It was definitely the hot ticket last Sunday night. Special shoutout to Taylor Swift who took home three Moonmen last night including the Moonman for Best Video.

Also, respect to the man of the hour Kanye West, who won the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. And respect for giving us one of the major shockers for the night with #KanyeForPresident2020. Hottraxx might’ve considered voting for you if we could. #OneManShouldHaveAllThatPower

In the first place this week is Vanessa Bling AKA Gaza Slim and Kranium with their new hit Notice You. The song, produced by Markus Records, came as shock to some, as the recently engaged Dancehall Diva was once romantically linked to Kranium and allegedly was in a feud with diva Tiana over Kranium. Messy right…? In any case the song is sure to be one of the early hits for this month.2.      Wah Gwan Bredrin – Masicka

In second place this week is Masicka with his new single Wah Gwan Bredin. The upbeat track is the most recent release from the deejay and is expected to do very well this month. The song is the most recent track to be featured on the 6 Figga riddim which is in the running to be considered riddim of the year.3.      Pound a Rice – Vybz Kartel

Remaining in first place on the international list this week is Taylor Swift with her hit Wildest Dreams. Taylor, accompanied by her powerful posse and the stars of the Bad Blood music video, revealed the steamy music video for Wildest Dreams, which showcased a brunette Taylor opposite Scott Eastwood. Taylor channelled her inner Elizabeth Taylor as the video depicted a rocky romance between two old Hollywood movie stars shooting a scene in Africa. The proceeds from the music video are being donated to the African Parks Foundation of America.2.      Back Together – Robin Thicke ft Nicki Minaj

In second place this week is Robin Thicke and Nicki Minaj with Back Together. The VMAs was also a great night for Nicki, who also won the award for Best Hip Hop Video. She opened the show in a stellar red African queen themed performance. She also started the show by mending bridges between with Taylor Swift who literally popped up on stage and helped Nicki during her performance.
