Arnett in hunt for KSAFA U-13, U-15 titles
ARNETT Gardens will seek to add both the KSAFA Under-13 and Under-15 football titles after semi-final wins on Saturday.
They reached both finals after defeating Under-15 defending champion Duhaney Park 1-0 in the semi-final at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex. The Under-13s tagged neighbours Boys’ Town by the identical scoreline the day before at Duhaney Park playfield to reach the final.
Arnett Gardens will contest both finals against Cavalier SC.
It will be the second time that both clubs will meet in these finals with Cavalier SC winning both ties. Cavalier SC, the Under-13 defending champions, defeated Arnett Gardens FC four years ago to begin their dominance of the division.
In Saturday’s semi-final game, Arnett Gardens FC made heavy weather of defeating the defending champions with a Rantano Roberts 33rd-minute strike. Cavalier SC, in a command performance, defeated Real Mona 2-0 with goals from Michael Allen (eigth minute) and Omar Thompson (69th-minute penalty).
