All set for Wata/CUMI Come Run
TRYALL, Hanover – ALL four defending champions are expected to turn up for this Saturday’s 7th staging of the Wata/CUMI Come Run 5k/10K events to be staged at Tryall, Hanover, starting at 7:00am.
Anthony Mills who won the men’s 10K race and Carlene Blagrove, who won the female equivalent, will be back, as well as 5K winners Delon Maxell and Sheree McIntosh, organisers say.
Junior Taylor, chairman of the fund-raising committee, said on Tuesday that about 700 people are down to participate in the event.
He added that the course was being prepared and should be ready by Friday.
The event is the major fund-raiser for the Committee for the Upliftment of the Mentally Ill.
