Another prisoner evades police at hospital

KINGSTON, Jamaica – It has been reported that a prisoner escaped police custody while at the University Hospital of the West Indies in St Andrew early this morning.

Details surrounding the incident are sketchy but sources told OBSERVER ONLINE that the man escaped about 3:30am. He is said to be an August Town resident.

When contacted, the police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) said they were aware of the incident but could not provide any details.
