THE fourth staging of Guinness Sounds of Greatness (GSOG) sound system competition moves to the Red Stripe Oval in Kingston next Friday, September 25.

Showtime is 9:00 pm.

Sound systems No Limit, Little Richie, SK International and Redd Heat are expected to do battle.

“The competition is heating up and the support has been overwhelming as it continues to grow each week. It shows that Guinness has always and will continue to have a place in the hearts of the communities. We can’t wait to see what the next set of sound systems bring to entertain and excite,” said Camille Moore, assistant Guinness brand manager.

For each instalment, sound systems face off with each other while judges — selector/artiste Tony Matterhorn and music producer Mikey Bennett — rate them based on pre-set criteria.

The event is hosted by Badda Bling from Di Unit.

So far, the winners are Teflon, Shadrock and Pink Panther, and the competition has already been held in St Mary, St Elizabeth, and St Ann.
