Petrojam says strike will not affect market supply
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The management at Petrojam Limited says industrial action taken by members of the Petroleum Workers Association (PWA) will not affect the supply of fuel to the market.
Read: Petrojam workers protest ‘unsafe working conditions’In a statement issued to the media Tuesday afternoon, General Manager of Petrojam Howard Mollison said: “We have put contingencies in place to ensure continuous product supply to the market.“The management team is mindful of the issues raised by the PWA and are working assiduously to have these resolved.”He said members of Petrojam’s management team and the Petroleum Workers Association (PWA) are currently in a meeting at the offices of the Ministry of Labour.
