Cavalier reign supreme in KSAFA tourneys
Cavalier SC defeated Arnett Gardens FC in the finals of the ICWI/KSAFA Under-13 and Under-15 competitions at Duhaney Park on Saturday to maintain their stranglehold on the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) youth tournaments.
Cavalier continued the pillage of the Arnett Gardens junior teams by first defeating the Under-13s 2-1 with first-half goals from Davian Williams (10th minute) and Dwayne Atkinson (18th). Jaron Shepherd replied for Arnett Gardens from the spot in minute 23.
Cavalier were winning the Under-13 crown for the sixth time from seven attempts.
Cavalier then returned two hours later to take the Under-15 title 6-5 on penalties after full time and extra time had failed to separate the teams, who both failed to score.
