TIVOLI ENQUIRY: Diary of deceased criminal read
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Tivoli Enquiry has heard entries from the diary of deceased criminal Cedric Murray, who described himself as a Christian man and one who pledged his gun and loyalty to the Coke family.
In the diary read by superintendent Beau Rigabie, Murray described former Prime Minister Bruce Golding as a puppet for the United States, and blamed him for “destroying” Tivoli Gardens.
He also described how he engaged members of the security forces attempting to enter the Tivoli community to arrest don Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke in May 2010.
He spoke also about fleeing Tivoli Gardens under heavy gunfire and about having to be on the run due to the security forces taking over the community in which he found to be a safe haven.
