…Supreme Ventures Diamond Mile field sees the best including top three-year-olds

Sixteen of the best horses in training along with an eligible list of 10 additional runners have been officially entered at the first stage of entry to determine the final field of horses to run in the inaugural staging of the Supreme Ventures Diamond Mile scheduled for Saturday December 5 at Caymanas Park.

At the head of the list with 57.0 kgs are three importees, the talented Uppa Tune along with stablemate Pete’swildone, both trained by the in-form Harry Parsard. The other imported horse in the top 16 is s the Wayne DaCosta-trained Fortuneonehuindred.

DaCosta has also entered the highly regarded Perfect Neighbour, All Correct and Hovercraft as four-year-olds and up. They are joined by the classy Typewriter and Commanding Chief, the latter two taking conditioning orders from Spencer Chung.

Two other major four-year-old and up entries are Potcheen, trained by Parsard, and Uncle Taf who is guided by trainer Solomon Sharpe.

To add a lot of spice to the Supreme Ventures Diamond Mile are the entries of the talented three-year-olds just returning from competing in the Classic races. Derby winner Seeking My Dream who has not raced since the St Leger in July and Ali Baba, winner of the 2,000 Guineas, are the only two three-year-olds on the top 16 list which is based on lifetime earnings.
