Police seek public’s help in identifying woman found dead in Kingston Harbour
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police in the Kingston Central Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a woman that was discovered in the Kingston Harbour near the Bank of Jamaica on Tuesday, May 5.
The deceased is believed to be approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, of dark complexion and medium build. She has short black hair, appears to be in her late 30s, and bears a tattoo of a heart with wings on her back.
According to police reports, about 8:57 am, a passerby travelling in a boat reportedly discovered the body and alerted the authorities.
Upon the police’s arrival, the woman was removed from the water and transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The body was later taken to the morgue pending a post-mortem examination.
