Brilliant ‘Bunny’ nets late brace to sink Chelsea, send Man City to FA Cup final
Khadija “Bunny” Shaw scored a late brace to clinch a dramatic come-from-behind 3-2 win for Manchester City against Chelsea in the Women’s FA Cup semifinals on Sunday.
The Jamaican international dominated headlines last week as she has been linked with a big money move away to Chelsea, even while City were crowned Women’s Super League champions and she was named 2026 Football Writers’ Association Women’s Footballer of the Year.

Against this background, all eyes were on Shaw in a mouth-watering encounter against City’s fierce rivals and possibly her future side. And she delivered in remarkable fashion.
Chelsea stars Sam Kerr and Erin Cuthbert put them ahead 2 – 0 and it seemed they were heading to the knockout final when the game turned on its head.
With four minutes remaining in normal time, Mary Fowler pulled one back for City before Shaw equalized in stoppage-time.
The prolific Jamaican then crushed the hearts of Chelsea fans when she nodded home the winner for City in the 13th minute of extra time.
City will now face Brighton in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on May 31.
