UPDATE: Wakefield residents bash unresponsive political reps
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Angry residents in Wakefield, St Catherine, say they feel disrespected that after several hours of protest the political representatives have not come forward to inform them when the roadway would be fixed.
As a result, they have come up with a slogan.
“Any side fix it them we a vote for,” said one resident.

The placard-bearing woman is part of a group made up of close to 100 people now gathered in the area.
The residents who have used debris and old tree branches to block the roadway saying they are fed up with the political representatives from both the People’s National Party and the Jamaica Labour Party who continue to ignore their calls.
“Them continue to ignore us, so hear what, any side fix it them we a work with,” the group members shouted.
