JENDAH aiming for next level

SINGJAY Jendah is hoping for a career boost with his latest single Transpire.

“It’s a song describing the envious heart that some humans have. This song was done as an introduction for the campaign I am on,” said Jendah. “The songs that will be following, I expect them to be on that same fiery path.”

Co-produced by Greg Fuzionz and A-Town Records, Transpire was released in early November.

Jendah, whose given name is St Matthew Anglin, grew up in the Barbican Area of Kingston and attended St Andrew Technical High School.

He was exposed to music at an early age.

“I grew up in the yard where (producers) Steely and Clevie were, so as a child I got the opportunity to meet the likes of Daddy Screw, Buju Banton and Monster Shack Crew who all inspired me,” Jendah said.

His career as an artiste started in 2008 with Wuk Gyal, a song produced by Red Rat’s Rata-Castle Records. This was followed by The Glue, Time A Get Harder and The Problem.
