MOTORCYCLE enthusiasts were in for a treat with Superior Bike’s three-day sale at its Hagley Park Road in Kingston recently.

Hundreds of customers enjoyed massive discounts on Zhujiang and Supra motorcycles.

“We are the household name in Honda parts because of the quality and availability. Now we have Superior Bikes which has a wide selection of bikes and bike parts. The customers kept asking for it, so we decided to go out on a limb and make it happen,” said Derrick Johnson Jr, son of Superior Parts Ltd’s CEO and founder Derrick Johnson.

The younger Johnson said customers were out nearly three hours ahead of the sale’s 8:30 am start.

“The crowd was here as early as 6:00 am. It has been crazy because the support has been phenomenal. Our rural branches also reported similar crowds, so they too are benefiting from the sale. What we have here is a state-of-the-art facility for bikes and the feedback is just awesome,” said Johnson.

A customer, who identified himself as ‘Boysie’ from St Ann, was seen testing out his new Zhujiang bike.

He said the durability and features assisted in making his purchase.

“I like this bike because it’s a good bike. Where I am from in St Ann the road is very bad, so this will help me to move around effectively. It was worth it coming all the way into Kingston to get in on the sale. Big up to Superior,” he said.

Another customer attributed economics for his reason for travelling from St Thomas to purchase a Supra bike.

“Bredrin, a just the economics me a work wid. Bike deh pon sale, so mi couldn’t miss this. And when mi reach mi get a little ting tek off a di bike. Mi glad, ’cause a long time mi a save fi buy a bike,” he said.

Superior Parts has branches in Portland, May Pen, Old Harbour, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Mandeville.
