Fans treated to Taylor Swift 1989 online experience

Taylor Swift fans everywhere rejoiced on December 20th as they were all treated to a free concert experience online. For a week prior to its release pop star Taylor Swift teased The 1989 World Tour LIVE with snippets from her now wrapped nine month world tour.

The concert movie of sorts is exclusively available for viewing on Apple Music and features behind the scenes looks at rehearsals as well as concert performances of Taylor’s hits from her album 1989 and performances with surprise musical guests like Wiz Khalifa, Selena Gomez, Justin Timberlake and Lorde.

This gave international Swifties (and music enthusiasts) who did not otherwise have the opportunity to see Swift in concert live on this tour or any other, to see concert footage and get an up-close, by the stage kind of experience. And with the amazing light shows, visuals, costume changes and surprise appearances from some of music’s finest it soon became clear exactly what fans who’ve been to the shows were raving about.

To top it all off, the footage featured personal interviews with Swift, in one of which she made it known that she’s not quite sure what she’ll be up to now that the tour is over.

She has previously said that she feels as if ‘people need a break’ from her and that she won’t be putting out another album until she feels like it tops 1989. Swift expressed an interest in taking CPR lessons, or mixology classes during this self-imposed break.

But don’t worry, she’ll be doing a little song-writing as well.
