‘Herbert’, Cornwall favourites to reach finals
Cornwall College hosting Holland High in an ISSA Western Conference Under-16 regular season game. The teams will meet again this afternoon at the Montego Bay Cricket Club in the semi-finals.

‘Herbert’, Cornwall favourites to reach finals

MONTEGO BAY, St James — Defending champions Herbert Morrison Technical and Cornwall College will start favourites to advance to their respective finals when the semi-finals of the ISSA Western Conference boys’ basketball get underway today at the Montego Bay Cricket Club with a double-header, starting at 4:00 pm.

Both Herbert Morrison Technical and Cornwall College beat their opponents twice in the regular season and are expected to make it to the best of three finals which start on Wednesday.

Herbert Morrison, who are unbeaten in two years in Western Conference action, will face William Knibb Memorial in the Under-19 semi-final set to start at 6:00pm, following the Under-16 game between Cornwall College and Holland High.

The semi-finals will continue on Monday with two more games also at Cricket Club, both involving Muschett High against Herbert Morrison in the Under-16 game and Cornwall College in the Under-19 game.
