RJR AWARDS: Marva Bernard receives Lifetime Achievement Award

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Former Netball Jamaica President Marva Bernard and Olympic champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce received the Lifetime Achievement and Sagicor Iconic awards, respectively, at the RJR Sports Foundation Sportsman and Woman of the Year Awards gala at the Jamaica Pegasus in Kingston, a short while ago.

Bernard, who has played an integral role in Jamaica’s netball development over the last 10 years, is the third recipient of the award since it was introduced in 2013.

Meanwhile, Fraser-Pryce is the fifth person to receive the Sagicor Iconic Award. She follows in the footsteps of Usain Bolt, Glen Mills, Molly Rhone, and Donald Quarrie.
