A taste of Mystic India

Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Award-winning restaurant Mystic India – Montego Bay’s go-to spot for fine, authentic Indian cuisine — gave us a taste of their preferred menu items and its new crab dish recently. The dishes were paired with fine wines from a wide array of choices, and Mike Turner from Caribbean Producers Jamaica (CPJ) was on hand to explain the pairings and their impact. Paired dishes included: Quinoa Masala on cucumbers and lemon, Coriander fish paired with Kung Fu Girl (Riesling), basil chicken kebabs and Tandoori aloo stuffed with goat cheese, paired with Fantinel-Prosecco; mini Tandoori chicken wraps, coastal crab curry with herbed rice and coastal corn curry paired with Louis Latour ‘Valmoissine ‘ (Pinot Noir). Of course we had to save your serving.
