MONTEGO BAY, St James — Former winners Tomorrow’s People came from behind twice to beat Norwood Strikers 3-2 and chalk up their third straight win in the St James Football Association Sandals/ATL Senior League at Albion on Friday.

Don Fuller scored twice, both from penalty kicks, but Larone Tulloch also got a double, including the winner in the 85th minute of the game that was marred by a head injury to Tomorrow’s People’s starting goalkeeper Darren Tummings, who had to be rushed to the hospital.

At UDC Field, Montego Bay United Under-21 shook off two losses to beat Violet Kickers 3-2 as the former National Premier League champions have now lost three straight games.

At Albion, Tomorrow’s People opened a five-point lead in Zone Two after edging Norwood Strikers, joining Melbourne FC as teams to win three straight.

Fuller gave Norwood Strikers the lead in the seventh minute when he converted the first penalty kick, but Tulloch brought the teams level in the 16th minute.

Fuller again sent Norwood ahead in the 25th minute, the same time Tummings was rushed to seek medical attention after he fell and hit the side of his head on the ground and appeared to lose consciousness. Michael Barrett was subbed in for Tummings.

Marcel Whyte converted a penalty kick for Tomorrow’s People in the 45th minute as the teams went to the half tied up at two goals each.

Tulloch got his second of the game five minutes before the end of regulation as Tomorrow’s People prevailed with all three points.

After being thrashed by Faulkland FC, Montego Bay United Under-21 finally managed to get their first win thanks to a 70th-minute penalty kick after Violet Kickers had rallied from being a goal down to lead 2-1 midway the second half.

Deshane Beckford gave Montego Bay United Under-21 the lead in the 21st minute as they led 1-0 at half time, but Violet Kickers took the lead after Andrew Walker got his second goal of the season to draw his team level in the 55th minute and 10 minutes later Javois Hamilton gave them the lead.

Alrick Ottey, however, pulled Montego Bay United Under-21 level at 2-2 in the 66th minute before Tevin Kerr scored the winning goal in the 70th minute to give his team full points.
