I-Octane ‘flings up’ the vibes
Soca-flavoured single, Fling Up Yuh Body by I-Octane is currently doing the rounds and producer ZJ Dymond happy with its reception.
“It’s a fusion of dancehall and soca. It also has a high-energy track that speaks to the ladies… it’s just fit for the time and ‘full a vibes’,” ZJ Dymond told the Jamaica Observer.
“ Fling Up Yuh Body is getting crazy love and is reaching the places where we want to.”
Released last month, Fling Up Yuh Body is on the Full Charge Records imprint.
ZJ Dymond said I-Octane was specifically chosen for the project.
“I’ve been working with I-Octane since 2010 and he has a big female following. I know he’s versatile on different rhythms and I wanted this to be different,” the 35-year-old said.
ZJ Dymond, whose given name is Kerishma Davis, is a past student of Dinthill Technical High in St Catherine. He got in music production in 2006.
His other projects include Tilt Ova, Ghetto Bible and Promiscuous rhythms.
