teenAGE Style Guide for YVAs 2016: Part 3

The much anticipated Youth View Awards (YVAs) are only a week away (February 20). If you’re a trendy fashionista who is young, hot and hype and you haven’t got your perfect fit then no need to fret, you still have time. A number of stores across the Corporate Area have looks for both males and females to suit their red carpet needs: looks perfect to party the night away with international superstar Pia Mia.

For the perfect YVAs Style Guide the teenAGE Lifestyle team visited Style Savvy (Shop 10, 7th Avenue Plaza, Kingston 10; 754-3713) to find looks for the female fashionista, and Grandeur Male (30a Constant Spring Rd; 475-8160) for fashion forward ensembles for a trendy male.

Both stores offer looks embedded in class and elegance, and also an array of designs, styles and sizes to work for any figure (so you have no excuse). This week we sought timeless elegance and we found it at both stores. Both Style Savvy and Grandeur Male offer a unique array of choices, so there’s no need to worry about looking like the person next to you.

The ambience at Grandeur Male is quite vintage and elegant, while Style Savvy offers a more modern and chic environment. Both boast courteous staff to assist with your every red carpet need. So, again, there’s no excuse not to bring out the young, hot and hype in you.

— Rashida Byfield

Model is wearing a black on black ensemble. A brilliant pop of colour has been added with a burgundy tweed blazer. The colour, cut and material of the jacket are all trending, upgrading the wearer to a force to be reckoned with on the YVAs red carpet.
The mustard-coloured rich wool of this fit is perfect for the fashion season, and is full of class and elegance. It is paired with a sparkling white undershirt, grey shoes and grey trousers. This look is for a laid back individual who still has a trendy side.
Thristan is rocking a perfect little black dress from Style Savvy. This dress may seem simple at the front, but one turn shows an intricate and detailed design perfect for the dazzling light at the YVAs. And those gorgeous shoes are not only fabulous, but trendy.
