Arnett hit Reno for 6 in RSPL
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Title-holders Arnett Gardens FC annihilated FC Reno 6-0 in Sunday’s late Red Stripe Premier League football match at Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.
Michaelos Martin hit a treble — finding the net in the 34th, 73rd and 87th minutes. Leon Strickland, in first-half stoppage time, Gary McIntosh (55th) and Kemal Malcolm (89th), got the other goals for the hosts.
Arnett, who have played one game fewer than leaders Montego Bay United (51 points), move to 49 points from 25 games.
FC Reno, who have lost two consecutive games, are in eighth place on 30 points.
