EMERGING dancehall singjay Sol is testing the waters with his latest single Feel So Good.

Released January 6, the single was produced on the Krayv Music label imprint.

“Feel So Good is dedicated to the female fans… It’s about a man complimenting a woman on how she makes him feel. Every man needs that kinda woman in their life,” the 27-year-old told the Jamaica Observer.

According to the deejay, the single is doing the circuit.

“This song has the potential to be my first major hit. We’re pushing it hard in the streets,” he said.

Feel So Good is the title track from his upcoming seven-track EP of the same name. That set is slated to be released at the end of March.

“Mi have five solid songs already… I’m just finalising up the collabs. The EP will be a little of everything… girl songs, hardcore songs and about life. It’s for all age groups and everyone can relate to something on it,” he said.

The singjay said his reason for an EP is to showcase his versatility.

“People a ask mi fi more songs, so mi just showing them there’s no shortage of that,” he said.

Sol (whose given name is André Rowe) was born in Cockburn Pen in St Andrew. He said he grew up listening to veteran deejays Super Cat and Josie Wales as well as young turk Bounty Killer.

He attended St Jago High School in St Catherine and migrated to the United States in 2003. In 2010, he released his first single

In My Heart. He, however, returned to Jamaica last year to advance his music career.

His other tracks include Superstar, Drugs and Far.
