Election stalls tribute
A MUSICAL tribute for the life of Sister Mary Ignatius Davies RSM slated for the Holy Cross Church, Carter Hall, on Sunday, February 21, has been postponed due to the imminent election.
The announcement was made by the Organising Committee of the Alpha Old Boys Association, which is chaired by Derrick Stewart.
“Due to the upcoming general election, members of the committee asked that the tribute be postponed as the event was too close to the date announced,” Stewart told the Jamaica Observer.
The election date is February 25.
Stewart apologised for the inconvenience and said a new date would be announced.
