Who rocked the Grammy’s red carpet?
The 58th staging of the Grammy’s has now passed leaving many with mixed feelings. Some are disappointed that Rihanna was a no show, there is joy from Kendrick Lamar’s performance and rap sweep, and also a jolt of feminist pride for Taylor Swift’s second Album of the Year Grammy.Bella Hadid: This effortlessly chic beauty brought her supermodel persona last night, in support of her boo The Weeknd. Hadid who is the younger sister of Victoria Secret’s model GiGi Hadid, gave us a fierce turn of the century, Morticia Addams look. She wore a black cut out Alexandre Vauthier spring 2016 gown.
However for those who have little concern for what was happening on stage, but instead ‘who rocked the red carpet’, below are my favourite looks from last night’s show:
•
• Tori Kelly: The hip and new Nobody Love singer obviously doesn’t only rock stages but red carpets as well. Although Kelly didn’t win any awards, she definitely won on the red carpet in her flowing emerald green gown from Gauri & Nainika.
• Kacey Musgraves: Rising country star and Katy Perry look alike, Kacey Musgraves made a unique and beautiful statement on the red carpet in her winning armani gown. This look succeeded in fit, texture and colour.
• Chrissy Teigen: The Sport’s Illustrated model, and glowing wife of Glory singer John Legend, was last night’s epitome of maternal elegance. Teigen rocked a gorgeous white gown with flowing cape by Yousef-Ajasmi.
Finally, honourable mention must be given to the eccentric Lady Gaga, and her custom Marc Jacobs fit. This look was an undeniable tribute to the late David Bowie. With heels like those however, if she had fallen it would’ve been a long way down.
