MANDEVILLE, Manchester — Starz Academy maintained their perfect start to the Manchester FA/JAMALCO Division One competition following a 3-0 beating of Mandeville United on Wednesday.

Delano Francis led the way with a brace, scoring in the second and 89th minutes, while Dalton Davis netted the other goal in the 65th.

The victory means Starz also maintained their position at the top of Zone One on 10 points.

They are two points clear of Los Perfectos in second place, after the former Premier League side blanked 360° Youth Academy 2-0.

Christopher Campbell scored both goals in the 36th and 64th minutes to keep Los Perfectos two points ahead of third-placed Plowden FC.

Plowden registered the biggest margin of victory on the day, thrashing Epping Forest 4-0. But it was actually their first win of the season after drawing their previous three games.

Kemar Griffiths (34th), Richard Lindsay (36th), Fitzroy Wilson (59th) and Cody-Wayne Francis (81st) were the goalscorers, condemning basement team Epping Forest to their fourth defeat in as many games.

360° Youth Academy and Mandeville United have four points each. They were both losing for the second time in four outings.
