Jahmiel does it for Konsequence
The Konsequence Muzik label scores its first number one with singer Jahmiel’s True Colours . It is top of the Tempo Cross Caribbean Countdown chart .
Label spokesperson Keona Williams commented on the song’s success.
“Thanks to everyone who gave the song and the ‘riddim’
True Colours the support, from the radio DJs to the sound system disc jockeys, the media and the fans,” she said.
Jahmiel, who has been working with the label since last year, is also elated.
“I feel good to know that the song is number one. I am elated to just see how much the music has reached the people. It’s a great feeling,” he said.
Konsequence Muzik got off the mark in 2013 with the Kurfew rhythm.
Among the artistes who have worked with the label are Konshens, Gyptian, Future Fambo, Beenie Man, Lady Saw, I-Octane, Khago, Mavado, and New Kidz.
Konsequence Muzik’s latest project is the
Life To Live rhythm which was released on April 1.
