British man held with cocaine at MoBay airport
ST JAMES, Jamaica — A British man was last Saturday arrested for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James.
He is Jason Robinson, 22, a security guard of Harold Road, Birmingham, England. Robinson has been charged with possession of, dealing in, and attempting to export cocaine.
Reports from police attached to the Border Security Branch are that Robinson was attempting to board a flight to England when he was searched and cocaine weighing 3.5 pounds found in his luggage.
He was subsequently arrested and charged.
He is to appear in the St James Parish Court on Friday, May 6.
