West Kingston man charged for St Elizabeth cop’s murder
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica – The St Elizabeth police say they have formally arrested and charged a West Kingston man for the murder of District Constable Lewis Robinson earlier this month.
Charged with murder is Rushane Baker, 26, of Denham Town in Kingston and who also lives in Lacovia, St Elizabeth. Baker is also known as ‘Venom’ and ‘Chips”. He is to appear in court in Santa Cruz on Friday.

Robinson was killed about 2:00am on Monday, May 9 as he sat in his car outside a popular night club in Lacovia which he frequented. His firearm was taken by the killers.
