Bugle teams with Berta Records
True Identity by Bugle has placed Berta Records in the spotlight. Based in The Bronx, New York, the label has been around for six years.
According to Berta Records spokesperson Tomique ‘DJ Fresh’ Williams, Bugle’s reputation for provocative lyrics influenced him to get the deejay on their Fresh Groove rhythm.
“ True Identity aggressively took on a feel of its own, not only loved by Bugle’s fans, but by reggae lovers around the world. It has been getting major airplay in the US, Europe and UK. The melody, ‘Dutty Heart cyaan hide under clean clothes’, is slowly but surely becoming a street anthem,” said Williams.
Fresh Groove also features One In a Million by Jah Vinci, This Love by Kibaki, Attitude (Black Lion) and You Got It by Soul Skelly.
