It would not be a top ten dancehall list without Kartel and after what seemed like a never ending pause on the release of new music the self-proclaimed Worl Boss floors everybody like no one else by releasing the eight-minute music video for Fever. The man is behind bars and his career is still booming when some artistes still ‘cyan buss’… smh sad.
3. Formula – Alkaline
In third place this week is Alkaline with Formula. The song is one of many summer singles that have been released that are sure to be ‘must plays’ at parties for the summer and now that this visa mess has been clarified, we’re sure we’ll be seeing Alkaline going on tour very soon.
4. Indicator – Spice
Unless you’ve been living under a rock It’s become abundantly clear that Spice is the top female artiste in dancehall at the moment. With a string of sold out performances during her last tour and hits like Indicator playing at every party, it’s safe to say that Spice is pretty untouchable right now.

In the top spot for international songs this week is Kid Ink, Jeremih and Spice with Nasty. Kid Ink joins an ever-growing list of international artistes including Rihanna and Drake to have decided to add a little Jamaican flavour to their craft. And what better way to do that than to bring dancehall Princess Spice. Big up Kid Ink and kudos to Spice for holding it hold down both locally and internationally.

In second spot this week is Rihanna with Needed Me. Rih Rih is currently on her ANTI world tour, however, the 28-y-o still finds time to hit the beach and flaunt her coveted bikini body… proving once again that Caribbean girls do it better.

Now if you’re like me, you’re just waiting for the day that Drake and Rihanna finally get together for good, and apparently the universe wants it too as One Dance is set to match Rihanna’s UK Chart record, spending its eighth week at number one.
