ST JOHN’S, Antigua (CMC) – A High Court judge, Justice Albert Redhead has described the actions of a 32-year-old wife as “wicked” as he sentenced her to two years jail for inflicting grievous bodily harm on her husband after he refused her sexual advances more than two years ago.

The Antigua Observer newspaper reported Friday that the court was told  that Sheniel King used hot water on her husband during the early hours of February 4, 2014.

It was told that the woman, who had moved out of her marital home, walked into the bedroom and made sexual advances towards her husband.

But when he refused, indicating that the relationship was over, she accused him of having “another woman” and then left the room and went into the kitchen.

The man told the court that he got up and saw her approaching the bedroom with the steaming

Pot of hot water and even as he tried to escape, she managed to throw the contents on him.

The unidentified man said he ran out of the building, stripped off his clothing from his burning skin and made his way to his mother’s house nearby.
