Eight horses claimed
Eight horses were claimed on the nine-race programme at Caymanas Park on Wednesday.
Sir South was claimed from Dennis Lee by Ray Phillips for Texas Crew for $450,000; Bigbrowngreyhope was taken from Michael Marlowe by Ryan Darby for Raphael Gordon for $450,000, and Diferentgeneration was claimed from Errol Pottinger by Clifford Atkinson Jr acting as both trainer and owner for $450,000 from the second race.
Raymond Townsend claimed Captain Granville for himself for $250,000 from Lance Richards; the Patrick Lynch-trained Meet Justin was claimed by Norman Rose for himself for $250,000; Dwight Chen lost Chief Pospect for $250,000 to Rowan Mathie for Vincent Maine, and Steven Todd took Tashie Baby from Gary Griffiths for himself for $250,000 from the fourth race.
Winesha, who won the seventh race, was claimed from Marlon Anderson by Boris McIntosh for Dennis Pryce for $180,000.
