Another Manchester businessman murdered
MANCHESTER, Jamaica – The police are investigating the shooting death of 65-year-old businessman Michael (Mal) Levy in Comfort district, Manchester, early Sunday.
Police reports say Levy, who owned a shopping plaza in Mandeville, was on his way home from a popular party in Clarendon, when he stopped at another in Comfort, close to Royal Flat in central Manchester, a few miles east of Mandeville.
Police say Levy had parked and was leaving his motor vehicle at about 4:00 am when he was shot. Police investigators are uncertain about the motive for the murder.
