Conversations, a collaborative album from singer Ky-Mani Marley and German reggae artiste Gentleman, debuts at number four on this week’s Billboard Reggae Album Chart.

The 18-track set, released on June 24 by Kingstone Records, is the highest charting album for Gentleman, who previously peaked at number nine with 2012’s Diversity.

For Marley, this is his fifth title to chart on Billboard. His previous studio effort, 2015’sMaestro reached number one. It is currently at number 13 on the chart with 4,526 copies sold over the 52 weeks that it has been released. Marley’s previous charted albums were 2000’s The Journey, which peaked at number seven; 2001’s Grammy-nominated Many More Roads, which reached number eight; and 2007’s chart topperRadio.

Conversations sold 270 copies in its first week of release. The album features singer Marcia Griffiths on a remake of Simmer Down. Other tracks on the album include No Solidarity, Signs of the Times and Questions.

Elsewhere on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart, African singer Rocky Dawuni’s Grammy-nominated albumBranches of the Same Tree re-enters the chart at number 27, with 23 copies sold. To date the album has sold 677 copies.

Debuting at number 20 with 33 copies sold is Love/Lust by singer K’Coneil, which was released by Gideon Music.

Inside the top 10, Water for Your Soul by Joss Stone falls to number 10 with 57 copies sold of her chart-topping set. The album has been on the chart for the past 48 weeks and has to date sold over 34,478 copies.

Alkaline debuted at number one 14 weeks ago with New Level Unlocked. That album plunges to number nine with 58 copies sold over the past week to bring its tally to just 2,139 copies.

Vybz Kartel’s King of the Dancehall debuted three weeks ago with 1,800 copies. Over the past week it sold 188 copies to bring its total sales to 2,320 copies. It falls to number seven on the chart.

Jumping to number 5, after debuting at number 47 last week, is the various artistes compilation Soca Gold 2016. The set moved 225 copies and has to date sold 237 copies.

Ziggy Marley’s self-titled album holds firm at number two after six weeks on the chart. It spent one week at number one. It sold 364 copies last week to register at total of 8,896 copies to date.

The number one spot is still being held by California reggae band Rebelution with Falling into Place. A total of 1,279 copies were sold over the past week to bring its five-week tally to 18,367 copies.
