Ricardo Suave rules Redbones
AS his name implies, singer Ricardo Suave gave a smoothed-textured performance at the Redbones Blues Café in New Kingston, recently.
“It’s quite a pleasure for me, as for awhile, I wanted to perform here at the world-renowned prestigious Redbones and it has finally happened,” the entertainer told the audience, after his opening number I Who Have Nothing.
In celebration of his dream come true, Suave gave his all with an energised performance that connected with the large audience as he delivered some amazing renditions of vintage material from home and abroad, as well as some of his originals.
In the first of his two segment stint, he electrified the venue with a mix of soulful offerings and reggae including Once Upon A Time, You Gonna Miss My Loving (You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine), Sitting and Watching (While Life Goes On), How Could I Leave, Little Green Apple, Lady (Hello) , Human Nature, Inseparable, It’s A Wild World, Should I, as well as his originals Bring It Come and Run Away With Me.
The dapper performer would return to the stage after a brief intermission and reaffirmed billed for this showcase. This time around, he opened with Love and Hate (Here I Come), followed by much more enthralling presentations like Left With A Broken Heart, You And Your Smiling Face, West Bound Train, Come On Over To My Place, Say You, were just some of the unforgettables.
