Cocaine valued at $15 million seized; two Canadians arrested
Two Canadians were arrested Wednesday following the seizure of cocaine valued at $15 million at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James.
The police reported that while carrying out checks at one of the boarding gates Wednesday evening of passengers boarding a flight to Toronto, Canada, two were stopped, interviewed and searched when a total of 55 packages of snacks,containing cocaine were found in their possession.
They were subsequently taken into custody. Their names were not released by the police.
