One killed, four injured in Bahamas drive-by shooting

NASSAU, Bahamas (CMC) – Police were searching for the gunmen who shot and killed one man and injured four others during a drive-by shooting here late on Thursday night.

A brief police statement said that a group of men were playing dominoes in the driveway of a home in Sunset Park around 11.00 pm when a champagne-coloured vehicle with several armed men inside “pulled up and fired several shots … before speeding off.

“One of the men was pronounced dead on the scene and four others were transported to hospital where they are being treated for injuries sustained,” the statement said, without giving any further details on the incident.
