FLOW opens full service centre at Norman Manley International
FLOW has opened a new kiosk at the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) in Kingston, saying the investment is a significant milestone in its ongoing effort to revamp the experience of its customers.
The new venture will offer departing travellers access to FLOW’s full range of services, including device sales, technical support, credit top-up , bill payment, and account services.
The centre is also equipped with a FLOW ‘tech expert’ to help outbound passengers have the best experience with the network while roaming, while recommending appropriate roaming plans to help manage their budget.
“We want our customers to know that we are there to support them wherever they go, and so this installation is part of our overall strategy and vision for our retail operations” said Stephen Price, head of retail operations at FLOW.
“The decision to establish a centre at the NMIA came from a desire, on our part, to fulfil the needs of travellers on the go, many of whom are our roaming customers. We also received overwhelming demand for us to have a greater presence in this highly trafficked area,” Price said. He announced that plans are now under way to establish another location in the arrivals section of the airport.
Annette Walker, manager of the NMIA store, said: “Many customers are unaware of the various roaming charges applicable when they travel, and as such the store has become a valuable touch point for customers just before they leave the island. We also serve the large employee body here at NMIA,” she added.
“We have also boosted the level of active customer engagement [as] we want persons to feel like we are the last to see them off, while also ensuring that their services are in order before they return home,” she said.
The outlet now brings to a total of more than 80 the number of full-service operations provided by the telecommunications firm.
